Didn't go inside - the outside is stunning. Got more excited when I realised that fictional Kingsbridge Cathedral (Pillars of the Earth, Ken Follett) is based around Salisbury Cathedral. If I had more time in the day I would have gone inside but still an awesome sight from the outside!
